I always log my VHS purchases on the DVD board so, I thought we should have a separate thread for VHS.

Gross Misconduct - because of Naomi Watts Midnight Fear - because of Craig wasson and David Carradine Mind Games - because of curiously ridiculous description of the plot on the box
Buying VHS's is so cool I can't stop doing this.

Frankenjohn, these are all recent VHS purchases? Aren't all, or at least most of these movies available on DVD? I'm just curious, but what's the attraction? Are you getting these for $1 apiece?
The last VHS I purchased was a used copy from Amazon.com of HEARTS OF DARKNESS: A FILMMAKER'S APOCALYPSE, the documentary about the making of Coppola's APOCALYPSE NOW. I only bought it because having only seen it in a theater when it was new, I wanted a copy, but it's not yet available on DVD. It's pretty safe to assume it truly will be the last VHS I buy.

So how much do you guys pay for these? Do you buy used or brand new?
I only buy my VHS's either on sale (Star Trek: Nemesis is the most recent buy) or well-used from a rental store. 1-2$ is what I usually pay for them.
