It was a tough choice between the Mummy and the Mummy Returns, but I ended up going with the Mummy. I had to resort to shaving points off the Mummy Returns for that crappy CGI Scorpion King. Perhaps that was a foreshadowing of Van Helsing?
I'll also admit to liking the Scorpion King as well. Not too many people will admit to this, but it makes for a decent war epic.

I will admit to this, too. A nice, fast and unpretentious movie.

In answer to your question: not good at all.
He's a trashy filmmaker who's given too much money to make movies with.

I can't stand the Scorpion King. Something about an action hero with plucked eyebrows ruins it for me.
