I've watched Kite. The Director's cut, naturally. I couldn't believe the anime stuff might be a such a good movie. Not to that extent. But it was. The plot, the action, the F/X  , and such an ending! Thank you Fenril for an excellent tip.  Glad to be of service, and that you, too, liked this movie a lot. Yeah, the ending caught me off guard, too, especially the killer's identity. It's the kind of nasty yet logical twist they'd never ever pull off in american (as in: made in Hollywood) movies of any kind. |

Forgot to add: I recently saw the anime movie PERFECT BLUE, which is a lot like Kite, but more of a psychological thriller.
Recommended highly, it's very mind-bending, weird, and brutally nasty in places. Some very interesting commentaries on internet culture, too.
