I'm sure most of us have seen the original 1973 animated version of Charlotte's Web, or at the very least, read the classic children's book by E.B. White, it was based on. Right?
Anyway, the original was animated traditionally and the new one will be live action humans and CGI animals, kind of like BABE, I guess.
Dakota Fanning is in the human lead as Fern. And of course they've cast a bunch of big time stars to voice the animals. Here's a list, so far.
Charlotte the spider: Julia Roberts
Templeton the rat: Steve Buscemi
Gussy the goose: Oprah Winfrey
Golly the goose: Cedric The Entertainer
Samuel the Sheep: John Cleese
Betsy and Bitsy the cows: Reba McEntire and Kathy Bates
Brooks and Elwyn the crows: Thomas Hayden Church and Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000)
Guess they haven't cast the main character, Wilbur the pig, yet.
