I had no idea, but Nick Park is making a Wallace & Gromit feature length film! I love this duo! Anyone else a fan? I think THE WRONG TROUSERS is my favorite short (there are three of 'em). You can see a 'behind the scenes' featurette about the film coming out here: www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2661402?htv=12&htv=12&htv=12&htv=12

Great! I'm a fan, too! And yes - The Wrong Trousers are by far the best one in the series!
A feature length Wallace & Gromit film may even beat Chicken Run!

"THE WRONG TROUSERS" is a classic. And Wallace & Gromit in general are pretty funny. Looking forward to the next Park film.

By the way, I have never seen Park's Creature Comforts - is it really as great as some people claim?

By the way, I have never seen Park's Creature Comforts - is it really as great as some people claim? It's good - but really short (6minutes!). Not as great as I thought it was going to be anyway.

I agree with Phoenix. See it if you get the chance, but you don't have to go out of your way.

Just came back from the theaters, seeing this movie. I loved it! It was totally hilarious all the way through, and if Gromit doesn't get best actor at the next Academy Awards, I shall lead an uprising and revolt against the powers that didn't give him the award. Don't ask me for any secrets about the film, just go see it. The reviews in the papers do it more than just service.

Saw Curse of the Were-Rabbit last night. **** for me too. Probably the best 'animated' (if you can really call it that) feature I've seen this year. Great for the kiddies but lacks the usual smart adult humor that is almost expected in American children's films now. I found it refreshing that it didn't have that actually. Anyway, the sets and details are amazing! The beauty of a film like this is that since they're spending so much time filming it, all the backgrounds are full of fun tidbits (lots of funny titled movie posters for example) . I wished I could have paused the film several times so I could catch them all. Many of the characters' outfits were in the shapes of various veggies and I missed that as well (til my hubby pointed them out. ) I've always been a huge fan of this duo though so I'm a bit biased. Plus I enjoy anthing that can be classified as 'cute.' And this movie is nothing but cute. Can't wait for the DVD!!!!! (also saw Mcfarlane made PVC figures, I may pick a set up for my desk).

Well, when I get older, I want a dog that looks just like Gromit. That's one cute dog, and he's also a cool one too, so I wouldn't mind having a dog like that.

I'll be getting the Curse DVD, too, but it appears I missed it in my theatre... well, can't watch everything at once - Lord Of War, Life Of Brian and The Brothers Grimm got in the way this time.

Picked up the DVD of "Curse of the Were-Rabbit" - cute deleted scenes and nice transfer.
