I'm one of those Bond fans who think Moore movies were the best in the series. So you understand it's a difficult choice for me. Again.
But somehow I feel greatest love for A View To A Kill. It was the first Bond movie I ever saw and it probably matters a lot, too. What's strange, when I first saw it it was a 'cut' version of the movie! Just 80 minutes long! Why cut a James Bond movie? Well, these were the times of VHS birth, only 180 mins tapes were available at stores, and the guy I rented it from wanted to fit Commando and A View To A Kill on one of these, apparently; all the talking was thrown away and I got a James Bond flick that's purest action on earth! ;D
The long version is wonderful, too, however. And though I don't really dig Grace Jones, Chris Walken makes up for her presence easily.

LIVE AND LET DIE for me. Why? It was the first Bond film I ever saw as a kid, though I'm a bigger fan of Connery & Brosnan as Bond, and it easily has the best theme song of any bond film. That may be a trite reason, but I'll stand by it. So sue me. ;D It's really not a great movie, but at least Moore seemed young enough to be doing some of those stunts unlike the later Moore Bond movies where I wasn't buying him doing any of that stuff. Heck, he was probably using a stunt double for the love scenes. MOONRAKER is easily the worst Bond film ever made, starring anybody. Very lame and cheesey attempt by the producers to capitalize on the late 70's Sci-Fi craze started by STAR WARS. "I know, let's put Bond in space! The kids love all that space stuff!" "Is there some way we can have him use a Lightsaber without Lucas suing our asses??"

Dark secrets time: I liked Moonraker!

Duran Duran rocks!
For some reason Man with the Golden Gun gets a bad rap. I Think that is my fav. Moore Bond though. It has a great theme, a beautiful woman, A worthy opponent, Tatoo from Fantasy Island, and Sheriff J.W. Pepper.
Remember when he is stuck in the dojo with all the ninjas and they are getting ready to fight and the ninja bows and Bond just kicks him in the face. Classic!
Ok, it did have some corny parts, but it WAS Roger Moore, the man that mad Bond more of a parody than a real spy thriller.

I'd agree with that. In fact, that was one of the best things about most of the Roger Moore Bonds, the theme songs.
"Aaand... Dark secrets time: I liked Moonraker!"
Say it ain't so. Just kidding. We serve all kinds here. ;D
"Ok, it did have some corny parts, but it WAS Roger Moore, the man that mad Bond more of a parody than a real spy thriller."
And one of the reasons that he's one of the least liked Bonds, IMHO. He never seemed like he was taking any of it seriously. At least with Connery and Brosnan, you could believe that those guys could kick some serious ass if they needed to. Moore always seemed too "lightweight" in the role.

He definitely is the most lightweight Bond of all, Roger Moore. However, as I said above, he happens to be my favourite. The trouble is, I can't honestly say I dislike any of the actors who played Bond - even the dead serious Tim Dalton or a bit awkward George Lazenby; in fact, Licence To Kill and On Her Majesty's Secret Service belong to my favourite movies in the series.
The Man With The Golden Gun has a nice feel to it, a great villain and a bonus nipple, but I felt disappointed with it; for some reason it felt less thrilling to me than Live And Let Die or Octopussy or, of course, A View To A Kill.

"The Man With The Golden Gun has a nice feel to it, a great villain and a bonus nipple" LOL!! I guess you can never have a villain with too many nipples, huh??

I voted for Spy Who Loved Me. It's Inside Documentary was really good. Live and Let Die is one of my least favorite Bond movies, but the features on the DVD were really good.

The Spy Who Loved Me is one of my personal favourite Bond movies, too. It introduced us to Moonraker after all! ;D

I liked The Man with the Golden Gun the best because it has Christopher Lee in it. And I've always liked Christopher Lee.
I didn't really like Moore. He ranks above Lazenby and Dalton, but I feel Brosnan is better. He was just too laid back and...I don't know. Connery will always be Bond for me.

And so The Man With The Golden Gun is winning. Well, well - I always thought it's one of the poorest JB movies. What do I know, though?
