This was later adapted to the movies as "The exorcist III". I highly recommend The Exorcist III movie.

"Your Child's Self-Esteem" By: Dorothy Corkille Briggs
It's not a novel, it's like a guide-book of sorts to help me raise my boy so he's happy and confident and not a clod. It has a smilin' naked baby on the cover for some reason.

Just keep him away from Dying Fetus and whatever the hell else you've been listening to & he should be ok. ;D

Finished 'The Historian' - Boring & Predictable. A real disappointment with a pretty bad ending (and it takes a looooong time to get there, I was practically skimming the book by the end to get it over with cause I already knew what was going to happen). I dont recommend reading this mammoth!

Just bought "The Most Evil Men and Women in History" to read at home (reading my Baby Self-Esteem book on break at work).
The wife picked up "100 People that are Screwing Up America" Now, THAT'S a damn good book.

I dont recommend reading this mammoth! Man, I hate to hear that. I was looking forward to a good vamp book. Guess I'll have to stick w/ the few Anne Rice that I haven't read already.

Right now I'm trying to concentrate on The Dark Tower VII. So far it's good but with too many predictable parts; it's the case: King tells you what's going to happen and then it takes him one hundred pages to get exactly there.
It should start showing its aces anytime now, I hope!

I'm now reading another mammoth:
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
So far it's great though! Very imaginative.

Finished LEGION. So, was it good? Well, um, er... I guess it's a matter of viewpoints. As a straight horror novel (or even thriller) it sucks. It takes too long for things to happen --to the point that when they do, the reader no longer cares. And it's capped off by a real cop-out ending that gives you the impression that it was all basically a big cosmic joke. But a pseudo essay about the need for both good and evil in the universe (and concerning a wide variety of subtopics: evolution, sadism, toxicology, theology, the loving side of Lucipher, tape recordings of the dead, etc), it's very, VERY intriguing. Plus, the connections to The exorcist are handled in a pretty creative way. In sort, this is definitely not a book for all tastes, but it makes a good adittion to a collection of unusual books... This was later adapted to the movies as "The exorcist III". I highly recommend The Exorcist III movie. The movie is more concerned with the murders (which are almost a subplot in the book), but handled in a much more suspenseful vein. Good movie, but it's very different from the book. And the director was Blatty himself. How odd...

Bentley Little's The Resort - gripping from the get go! Unlike, I'm sad to announce, King's last volume of The Dark Tower: I'm stuck on page 500 and can't feel the need to move on. A shocker, huh?
