Scene #8: THE FILM: Network (1976)HINTS: This was a turning point of the film. Eventually, the network doesn't WANT Beale to work for them, because his rants start moving in a different direction. This is the scene that caused his rants to do so. Hmm, looking at the new hint, I remember that the reason they didn't want him to work for them anymore is because he was starting to spill the beans/tell the truth about the company that was taking over the network. So, is that one of the executives watching Beale rant on tv about the company? I can't remember what it was that Beale was revealing about the company. Well, if nothing else, this trivia question has made me want to go back and rewatch this film.

Close, but not quite there yet. Final hint! Go back to the original image for the final hint.

Yeah Smitty, maybe it's time to throw in the towel on this one. I seem to be the only one even trying to guess and frankly, I've exhausted my memory of this flick. In the future I suggest we stick to only "truly" classic scenes from movies most of us have seen.

I had to retire a point in my Guess the Gore scene because I thought "The Blob" was more of a classic than it apparently is!
Of course, then I was "smart" enough to put an obvious Dawn of the Dead picture next--mindlessly ignoring the fact that frankenjohn had mentioned seeing it very recently!
Only my bonus gore image should be really hard--everything else I picked from more popular films. At least, I hope I did. It would seem that not everyone rates The Evil Dead as high as I do!

Yeesh, giving up already? Personally, I thought the scene was rather important. An extraordinarily-directed scene that pretty much ends up turning Beale's life in the direction that led him to his fate.
Fine, I shall retire the image.

I really tried to make that image difficult to solve. Indeed, good eye, Bart.

It was a while since I saw The Evil Dead, Q, and I was guessing from a public computer, so I had to do it from memory. Sorry.
