The Killer - Criterion Collection
Not the best release imo.

They were rereleased on huge sepcial editions--so I was thinking of out-of-print original Criterian editions. I take it then, that the film in question is completely out-fo-print? No big special, recent rerelease?

Seven Samurai? Yojimbo? Ran? Rashomon? Ikiru?
Wild Strawberries? The Seventh Seal?
Something by either Akira Kurosawa or Ingmar Bergman?

Um, I already guessed SEVEN SAMURAI & SEVENTH SEAL on the previous page. Also THIS IS SPINAL TAP in case anyone else missed it. More guesses: HARD BOILED? M? ANDY WARHOL'S DRACULA? ANDY WARHOL'S FRANKENSTEIN?

If it's a Criterian Edition we're talkin' about, it's gotta be a blockbuster--or a very famous movie, right?
I was gonna say "Showgirls" but it's still in print...

No, no.
Criterion is totally NOT about the Blockbusters. In fact, the only two blockbusters they really have are Armageddon and The Rock (yes, they release most of the Wes Anderson films, but those are totally not huge blockbusters, they're modest).
So no. None of those are correct still.

Told you it was an easy one. Term go it right.
SALO
Here's the IMDb trivia thing about it:
"The August 1998 Criterion was removed from the market due to copyright problems. So, this version of the DVD with the "white ring around the hub" can be easily sold for 600 or more US dollars in good condition. This makes it one of, if not the most, valuable DVD in the world. Bootlegs are extremely common due to its value. Research should be done before purchasing"
My friend has a cheap ripped copy of this, when I visit him again I'm gonna watch it.
