heh well, yes and no... Tina Turner made my head ache, but barter town was pretty cool. I saw this movie when I was quite young, like age 11 or something like that, and really haven't thought much about it since. I liked it then for sure. I guess I am hoping for the next one to break the mold and do something different for a change!

I just don't understand this Mad Max syndrome... I just couldn't even get into them...not even just to watch Mel. But my dad & my brothers love them so I always got stuck watching them.

I admit there is something about the Mad Max movies... I was never a die-hard fan, though. And Beyond Thunderdome? Sure, I kind of liked it myself.

I would like to watch another Alien even though it may be a risky business. Still, I liked the 4th part, it revived the story after the 3rd part being a crap really. The director and actors were quite good with few exceptions. The main feminine protagonist Sigourny Weaver kicked butt as usual, but the supporting actress Winona Ryder playing the female robot sucked. Without her the flick would have been much better but it was quite good even with her. The French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet has his own vision and his own bunch of actors who I love greatly. Especially Ron Perlman. If he was willing to direct a new sequel I would be satisfied.
But Alien Vs Predator to me is not a real sequel of Alien.
As to Mad Max a sequel could be nice too.
