The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) - Not my favorite (although I did like it), but when you have the opportunity to buy a version of the DVD that usually costs $29.99 for $4.99 when you're in the mood for some horror, why not?
Young Frankenstein - Also for $4.99.

Actually I just got a pile of them from Amazon (I'm a cheapskate so I wait until I want enough to get free shipping before I order)... but the one that was the coolest was called: THE NORLISS TAPES
I'd heard it was released from the Caustic Critics on Rue Morgue Radio... I saw this Made-For-TV movie back when I was a wee-videomonkey (about 7 or 8 years old) and it scared the bejeezes out of me... I often like to check out movies that scared me as a kid to see if they stand the test of time..and this one does!!
It's made by Dan Curtis, the guy who produced the old Kolchak: The Night Stalker and was intended as a pilot for a similair TV show... very cool and under $15.

Abel Ferrara's The Funeral. Ferrara is not one of my favourite directors but what the hell - the DVD was cheap and there's Isabella Rosselini and Christopher Walken in the movie.

Of course,
Superman Returns - 2-disc Special Edition.
I did not buy the box set. I own Superman (1978) already, and have no interest in owning Superman 3 or 4. I AM putting the Donner cut of Superman II on Netflix, though.

Man, did we just not buy a lot of DVDs this year? Last year had 42 pages. Don't look at me. I bought the same amount of movies in one year that I had acquired for four years total.
