Ok football fans, the best time of year is here! ;D The NFL season officially kicks off tonite. So I'll be off shortly to watch the Colts & Patriots. Just for the record, I hope the Colts beat the dogshit outta the Patriots for beating them in the Championship game last year.  Any early picks for Superbowl contenders? While I'd love to see my beloved Bears go to the big game (hell, I'd just be happy to see them win two games in a row...) I think the Colts have a good chance to make it this time, & also maybe the Chiefs. |

Other than the actual Superbowl, I don't watch. I might if Detroit ever started winning, I'm from Michigan, but fat chance of that.  Thank God for The Pistons last year and the Red Wings in seasons past. |

Ooops - wrong thread! I actually thought you guys are going to talk here about the only football that interests me - that is, uh, soccer. ;D
On the other hand, Poland was just beaten by England 1-2 in the World Championships so maybe it's better we don't raise the issue here.

Ewwwww, Detroit....Boo! Hiss! I know. We suck.  And yeah, only the Superbowl. I just don't have the inclination to follow any sport all season. I will watch boxing once in a while on HBO, and like I said, if one of our teams is doing well, I'll catch a few games, watched every game of the Pistons & Lakers NBA Finals, but that's about it. I'm a fairweathered fan and not afraid to admit it. BTW, The Pistons annihilated L.A. It was beautiful. |

Anyway...football & drag racing are the only sports I watch on a regular basis. Don't like baseball or basketball. I used to watch hockey occasionally, but I haven't watched it in years. I was a big St. Louis Blues fan.

I live in Canada, so if the sport is not played on an artifical ice surface, it is not considered a sport here. ;D
