I'm hoping someone can answer my question here: my dad wants the Highlander movie (the first one) on DVD. I go to the store and there are SEVERAL different transfers of it.
Does anyone have any of these, and which one is the best? Help!

It's a copout answer, but I always go for the double-disc edition. I'm a feauturette junkie, so I enjoy watching all those goofy promos. That would be the version I'd pick-up. Transfer clerity and audio choices never really played a big issue in my choices. I'd more likely get a version that has more extras than a better picutre and sound. It's just me, but there's my opinion.

So, pretty much what I said, the 2-disc edition. By coincidence or not, it looks like it just happened that way.
