Definitely a true legend who will be missed. He's probably up in Heaven right now, trying to make God "an offer he can't refuse."

That sucks... I just read yesterday or the day before that the guy was living in a small house or a mobile home or something, with very little money because he was bailing his son out of some manslaughter charge. That's a really sad way to go.
He was a really talented actor, and he deserved better. From On the Waterfront, to Guys and Dolls, to the Godfather, to Don Juan Demarco, to the Score, this guy never failed to entertain, and he will be missed.
Rest in piece, Marlon. God be with you.

Man, I just found out about 5 minutes ago! That just reeks. Yeah, I think Christian(his son) was charged w/ killing his sister's boyfriend b/c he beat her or something like that.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Marlon Brando (news), the reclusive Oscar-winning star of "The Godfather" and "On the Waterfront," hailed as one of the most influential actors of his generation, has died at age 80, associates said on Friday.
The legendary actor died of lung failure at the UCLA Medical Center on Thursday evening, a hospital spokeswoman said. His agents, citing Brando's long-held desire for privacy, declined to give further details.

This was sad and unexpected (at least for me) news. Until the end Brando had the guts to refuse to work with the most famous filmmakers or to just piss them off. Plus he was always a great actor - The Score is the best recent example to prove it.
RIP, Marlon, and have fun making these offers to God.

Plus he was always a great actor - The Score is the best recent example to prove it. I really enjoyed his performance in THE SCORE, plus it was a thrill for me, and I'm sure for many others, to see Brando, DeNiro and Norton all act in a movie together. The three guys who are considered the best actors of their respective generations. Good movie too.

Actress Janet Leigh of 'Psycho' Fame Dead at 77 Janet Leigh, best remembered as the screaming slasher victim in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 thriller Psycho, has died in Beverly Hills at age 77. Damn, another one gone. Comic Rodney Dangerfield dies in L.A. at age 82

Dangerfield, who became a pop culture sensation with a string of broad film comedies starting with "Caddyshack" in 1980, died at 1:20 p.m. PDT (4:20 p.m. EDT) at the UCLA Medical Center, where he had undergone heart valve replacement surgery in August, spokesman Kevin Sasaki said in a statement.

I couldn't believe it when I heard the news, 82 years old & probably still the top 10 dog of stand-up comedians. His one-liners were always fresh & for that I really respected the guy, he will be sorely missed. RIP

I was expecting Dangerfield to pass sometime soon. He was way to fragile to have another surgery. Still, it does make me sad.

RIP to both Janet and Rodney. Very sad news.
Rodney Dangerfield was a great comedian who, unfortunately, couldn't get a good movie for himself lately; when I went to see Meet Wally Sparks at the theatre I was pissed that I had to pay for such a bunch of lame jokes. Then I saw Natural Born Killers and suddenly thought that the movie world just didn't use all of Rodney's talents - such a creepy role and so brilliantly played by a comedian!
Haven't seen Janet Leigh in a movie for some time, either. Sure, she was in Birds 2, but I don't think anyone saw this one. Unforgettable actress, though.
