Thanks also for the belated wishes, guys! I actually worked part of the day on my birthday. Sybillness took me out for a nice dinner and then we went back home where we were joined by a couple of friends and family for cake and ice cream. German chocolate cake, hmmm.... Phoenix, I got a couple of dvd's, gift card, cash, and a Vader nesting doll. For those that don't know, a nesting doll is like an almost egg-shaped figurine made up of two halves. You open it up and there's a smaller doll inside, open that one up and there's a smaller one, etc. In the case of the Vader version, you open it up and Anakin (Hayden) is inside, open that one and little kid Anakin (Jake Lloyd) is inside. Very cute. It was a relatively quiet birthday. Not at all like the all-out 40th birthday, Hawaiian Luau-themed extravaganza of last year.

Hey, thanks everybody.
So I turned 21, but being such the loner I am I went out alone and drank two really good dark beers, but afterwards fell into this bizarre depression so I went home. Lame, yeah, I know.
My family's coming up to visit me on Saturday, so I just got a couple cards in the mail and my Mom sent me Michael Chabon's "The Yiddish Policeman's Union."
I've told my parents that outside of giving me life, the best thing they did was put me out on the same day as Mr. Lennon years ealier (ouch, just bit my tongue, it was lodged so firmly in my cheek).
Thanks again!

Thanks again! Sorry I wasn't on the Board to give you birthday wishes! Birthdays are overrated anyway, at least your b-day didn't have any drama! Have a great visit with the 'rents.
