My birthday presents:
A $250 check from my Dad--more or less for the financial problems the wife and I are continually up against.
A Sin City shirt from the wife.
"Scourge" 3-headed dragon Transformer from that new Transformer series (which I haven't watched because the quality of the writing has been very low the past 3 years) from my Mom. Much lower quality than what they were making just 5 years ago. So, I got an action figure.
Instead of a cake, a box of Krispy Kremes.
And the day with my son--whom I took off work to be with.
My birthdays are generally pretty uneventful. And I'm not lookin forward to that encroaching evil 30. Oh god.

Oh, and I don't think you're officially "old" until you hit 50. My Dad's 50 now. There's lots of teasing.
