I'm still not sure about Troy's chances to get the nomination for Best Picture. And as much as I adore Monica Bellucci, I don't think her role in The Passion Of The Christ was demanding enough to give her the Best Supporting Actress nom.

I'm still not sure about Troy's chances to get the nomination for Best Picture. And as much as I adore Monica Bellucci, I don't think her role in The Passion Of The Christ was demanding enough to give her the Best Supporting Actress nom. Ditto on both of those Bart. Here's what I think has a shot at a nomination so far. Keep in mind that I haven't yet seen "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". And my choices don't necessarily mean that I personally think the choice deserves the nomination, I'm just making predictions. If it was my personal favorites for the year so far, things like TROY and SPIDER-MAN 2 would be represented more. But let's get serious here. This is the Academy we're talking about. BEST PICTURE: Kill Bill: Vol. 2 The Passion of the Christ Fahrenheit 9/11 (Could be the first documentery to get a nomination in this category.) BEST ACTOR: James Caviezel, The Passion of the Christ Tom Hanks, The Terminal BEST ACTRESS: Uma Thurman, Kill Bill: Vol. 2 BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR: Stanley Tucci, The Terminal Peter O'Toole, Troy Hristo Shopov, The Passion of the Christ David Carradine, Kill Bill: Vol. 2 BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY: Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill: Vol. 2 BEST ADAPTED SCREENPLAY Benedict Fitzgerald and Mel Gibson, The Passion of the Christ BEST DIRECTOR: Mel Gibson, The Passion of the Christ Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill: Vol. 2 BEST ANIMATED FEATURE Shrek 2
