Damn it, Q. I said mine, tell us yours. The second I list what I bought will just happen to be the one time my wife uses the site and she'll just happen upon whatever it is that I bought her. Both of us bought Shrek 2 for my wee boy. So we're going to return the Full Screen copy. Gotta raise my boy right--on Widescreen!

It's a joke. The package has 25th Anniversary printed on it, but the 25th is crossed out and replaced by 26th. 2004 would've been the 25th Anniversary. The lead character is a little, er... slow. So, I guess they wanted the dvd release to reflect that.

ooooooooooooo....... 'Panik House' sent out screener copies of the films in it's "Pinky Violence Collection" a while back (bad man that I am have only had time to review one) but today a received a screener of the complete package!!! What a set! Day-glo pink PVC, hardback book sized cover that holds the 4 films, an attched booklet in the middle full of info on the films and the genre and nestled nicely in-between all that a CD of Reiko Ike ("Sex and Fury") songs. PLus a free sticker of the cover art! Easily one of the best looking box sets around at the moment. BUY IT!!!

What kind of extras does that one have?

Not that much. A commentary by Carpenter and Hill, a few trailers, a behind the scenes look at the remake and two behind the scenes featurettes on the original. You can go through all of them in about an hour and a half, without the commentery. Picture and sound, though, are the reasons for the release, it looks and sounds amazing.
