I may be the rotten egg on Batman Begins--despite my crazy-love for that movie, I passed up the chance to buy it for it's opening-week-5-bucks-less-than-normal price to grab:
Land of the Dead, Widescreen, Uncut, Unrated.
I never did see it in the theater, and as much as I love Romero, I think I owe it to him to have purchased it right away. Okay!! No more DVD's!! I gotta save my money!

I'm gonna watch it again as I think there is a small defect with this disc & by defect, I mean every copy that has been sold. Only 2 different scenes briefly went out of focus for 1 second. But when I searched backward to where the glitch was, it played fine until the second glitch. Not that big o deal, only a second or 2. |

I actually watched it twice the day I got it. My copy played just fine. My DVD player has a nasty habit of--every now and then--pausing briefly during a film. Usually only a second or two and almost always during a scene/chapter change, and generally during longer films. It did that brief pause the second time I watched it--but that's my DVD player's problem. My LotD DVD seems fine. Odd, I watched it again the other day & no glitches so I guess it must have just been dust or something in my dvd player. The layer change is normal for every dual layer disc, but I never heard of a pause during a chapter/title change. If it not bothersome to you, I guess leave it be. Me, I would buy another player if that always happened. |

I would've also picked up the new release of THE WIZARD OF OZ, but frankly, I've bought that movie enough times already, ie: vhs, laserdisc, dvd.
The last dvd version and it's extras are good enough for me.

My Mommy bought me Batman Begins. But it's the one-disc edition and one of my brothers already opened it (so no 2-disc version for me, so it goes) but that's okay. Because that's a good movie. It can stand alone, dammit!
