I got lots of stuff, but in DVDs, I got "The Pride of the Yankees" and Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train", both of which were on my Amazon.com Wish List (handy thing, the Wish List!). A friend gave me the unrated, uncut version of "Caligula"!!! I saw it ages ago and was telling him about it, and lo and behold, he got it for me (for those who haven't seen it, it tells the story of a loony Roman emperor, Gaius Caesar. The cast included some fine British actors, and after they'd shot their scenes, the producer inserted a lot of gratuitous porn scenes! But I suppose that's what you get when the producer is the publisher of Penthouse Magazine).

I rented it on video several days ago but then it appeared I have no time to watch it (even though it was a 3-days rental) and had to return it untouched. Hate doing that!

I saw CALIGULA years ago. Twisted, but wasn't crazy about it. To stay on topic, I didn't get any DVDs, but I did get a couple of Best Buy gift cards which I'm going to use to buy a new DVD player as ours is starting to go on the fritz.

After getting a new DVD player I still had some money left on the gift cards so I spent the balance on the following DVDs: FUTURAMA: SEASON 4 SPIDER-MAN 2 SHAUN OF THE DEAD ;D Haven't seen SALON KITTY, Frankenjohn.

Hate doing that! BART: I did watch Holes yesterday, and it was a good fairy tale kind of story. I thought it was pretty fantastic actually - Sigourney Weaver does a great job as the villian, and the kids actually didn't get on my nerves. I'm glad I own it!
