I got to listen to this CD today (go to The Leak at MTV.com to hear it!). Boy oh boy, was it good. I must confess, it's not as good as "Mezmerize," but it still kicked ass. It even has a twist, *SPOILER!* and that's that it turns out not to be a follow-up to "Mezmerize," but a prequel! The best songs are "Dreaming," "Kill Rock And Roll," Hypnotize," "Stealing Society," "Vicinity of Obscenity," and "Soldier Side." Can't wait to buy it next Tuesday!

As far an the very un-Metal world of Nu-Metal goes, System of a Down isn't too bad. Still, though, not my personal cup of tea.
I mean, I am listening to Death Metal right now...

I listened to the new System once so far and, as frank said, it's not as good as Mezmerize... probably. Left me a bit disappointed. Let's give it several more listens and I'll tell you what I really think.
