The Rolling Stones' new album surfacing just hours from now and no one's excited? Tell me I'm wrong! I have already heard several songs from it - Rough Justice is one - and they don't sound anything close to bad. Any other impressions?

You know. I have not heard a single song off this new album yet. From other's comments though, I hear that it sounds a lot like classic Stones. They were just in town this past Wednesday and I hear it was a great show. Saw them way back on the Steel Wheels Tour in the mid-nineties, and it truly was fantastic.

I got the album and already listened to it several times. The judgement is: four stars, easily. Meaning: I like it a lot, but wouldn't say it is as good as, say, Alice Cooper's Dirty Diamonds.

My favourite track on A Bigger Bang is easily the oh-so-controversial (it's about BUSH, y'see*) Sweet Neo Con: lovely!
(*) The record company says: "No, it's not. Calm down everyone".

Driving Too Fast belongs to those songs the reviews of A Bigger Bang usually call "unnecessary"; it's not one of my favourites on the album, but I like it. Surprisingly preachy lyrics here, however (I mean: the Stones telling you to slow down?!).

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with it...
