I couldn't possibly do a poll on this 'cause there's just so much cheese out in the world, so I just did a thread:
What movie do you think has the cheesiest soundtrack? I'm not talkin' crappiest here, not something that just sounds awful, but something that damn near makes you laugh out loud when you hear it--and is almost, embarrassingly enjoyable.
My vote: Transformers: The Movie (1986)--it's the worst of the worst of 80's cheesy Hair Metal. And yet, it's halfway enjoyable (not that one would ever admit it to loved ones) and, surprisingly, fits the movie like a glove.
(By the way, for those who didn't know, this movie has Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy, Judd Hirsch, and ... dammit, that guy from "Unsolved Mysteries." I forgot his name. Was also in the Beavis and Butt-Head movie. Nuts!)

I just remembered, my follow-up cheesy movie soundtracks are:
Cannibal! The Musical Team America: World Police
Both by the same guy: Alfred Packer. ... er, uh I mean Trey Parker.

God, the 80's. Pick almost any soundtrack and you can't go wrong. Though a guilty pleasure of mine is the soundtrack to the mid-eighties, Rated R animated feature HEAVY METAL. When those first couple of chords are struck in the title track by Sammy Hagar, it's air guitar heaven. ;D Because I saw it so recently and I remember commenting to my wife about it's horribly cheesey music, I'm gonna go with LADYHAWKE. Here you have a medieval sword & sorcery type flick that has the most innapropriate 80's style synthesizer-laden music, it actually made the movie several notches worse. Why they decided to go with that type of music is a mystery to me, but it just made my jaw drop.

Ok, although these are two of my favorite movies of all time & I love the soundtracks to both of them the first ones that came to mind are Rocky Horror Picture Show and Grease. Pure cheese but you gotta love it. And I'm not ashamed to admit it. ;D
Oh, oh...and Breakfast Club...although I love the music in that one too.

I remembered another one: 1986's Little Shop of Horrors.
