Well after such a long wait we have some new NIN product, and i hope the album is better than the lacklustre single. Middle of the road rock, with no Industrial edge or agression and nothing that excites the ears. And what they were doing on a Saturday morning pop show in the UK I do not know! NIN were on a show that had a competition to win the 'Pop Princesses 2' album for fuck's sakes!!!!!!! What the hell does that mean?

What the hell does that mean? Were I a fan, this would worry me a lot! Personally I just could never get to liking NIN's sounds in too big doses - so I never bought an album - but the various pieces they did for soundtracks usually work fine. Hmm, will have to catch this new tune somewhere anyway...

The new single didn't knock me out either, but I've only heard it once. Gotta hear it again before I decide if I really like it or not. I'm a fan, but was disappointed in their last record. "Pretty Hate Machine" is still their best, IMHO.

Hurt is pretty much my favorite NIN track, although, it's about a hundred times better when you listen to the Johnny Cash version.
That's right, this Elitist Metalhead likes Johnny Cash. And why wouldn't I? He rules! Plus, he recorded the song Thirteen, which was written by Glenn Danzig.

The video is perfect too! There didn't seem to be any type of music that guy was afraid to try. Of course he always put the Cash stamp on itand made it his own.
