Creep is the boys trying to be something they weren't, and come on, even they hate it. It sucks that much. So pretentious and self important. YUCK!
I like Creep. Granted, it's not one of Radiohead's best songs and it almost threw them into one-hit wonder stardom. But I think it works because the band is constantly trying to ruin the song even in the recordings.
Later they admitted that they "kinda liked it." I'll get the book and quote if you want me to.
Imagine is an amazing song. That Lennon!
