Oh, man! You talked to him!! That's awesome. I've seen some interviews of his and he seems like a really nice guy. Very much so, yeah. And he really puts a lot of emotion in his interviews - unlike many other musicians. He's a very talkative guy, too - the whole talk lasted about 75 minutes instead of the usual 30! As for Freedom Call - sorry, I meant their latest album, "Dimensions". Have you listened to this already, slayrrr? Now: Ride The Sky "New Protection", a debut album from Uli Kusch's new band. I'll have to get used to it - some songs are very similar to what Masterplan does. Sounds like a great interview. Going to be published online or what? I kinda want to know. And Dimension comes out on Tuesday here. It's the 26th for the US, so we have a busy day. Fall of Sipledome Testament The Gathering

The King Diamond interview is going to be published in a bi-monthly music magazine I've been working for since, I think, February. Thanks to this I have access to all the great new stuff like "Give Me Your Soul..." months before the official release. On the other hand, it takes LOTS of my free time. Next interview - Amorphis.
Now in my player: Megadeth "Rust In Peace".

Me now: Devin Townsend "Ziltoid The Omniscient" - a very funny album. And pretty heavy in places, too.

Amorphis "Silent Waters". I'm not an Amorphis expert but this album sounds good! One of very few bands that I can listen to despite all the growling.

It's very good - that's all I can say for now. Not yet sure if it's going to be one of my favourite Helloween CDs ever but there are some tracks here I'm already addicted to (e.g. "Kill It" or "I.M.E.").
I've got a promo CD but as soon as the album is released I'm rushing to the store to buy the Limited Edition Digi that has a bonus CD with videos and two other new tracks.

I'm going to talk to Markus Grosskopf of Helloween this Thursday - have any questions you want me to ask him, slayrrr?

I've got two or three right now:
1. How has the writing in the band changed from the beginning, what with all the personel turnover over the years?
2. Has the style changed significantly from early, fun-loving Helloween to later, serious Helloween?
Can't think of any more right now, let me know if you don't know what I mean by these.
