All the sequels in the poll will be sooner or later coming in our general direction. Do you have hopes for any of these? And which one will be the biggest pile'o'shite?
Personally, I'll gladly see Final Destination 3: sure the sequel wasn't as good as the first one, but this may be a good new franchise nevertheless. Also The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 can be alright (better than the original sequel, perhaps?) and I have no problems with the next Scary Movie.
But Saw 2?! Just tell me there's no Cary Elwes in it, please!

Let's see: The Ring 3 (Haven't even seen THE RING 2) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (Haven't seen the remake of TCM) Jeepers Creepers 3 (Haven't seen JC 1 or 2) Saw 2 (Haven't seen SAW)) Final Destination 3 (Haven't seen the first two) Scary Movie 4 (Only saw 1 & 2, and wasn't really that impressed) Wow, honestly, I don't really care about any of these. Maybe someday I'll get around to seeing FINAL DESTINATION or a couple of the others.

Oh you gotta be fuckin' kidding me! Saw 2?? Ring 3? Jeepers Crappers 3??? Christ! I don't know which to go with! They all look like pretty crappy ideas to me...
Man, that's a tough choice. I'd say the only one with any hope of non-suckery would be Texas2--but even that could really blow. The original Texas2 was nightmarishly awful.
The only things missing from that list of crap are AVP2 and "Jason Vs Freddy." But that last one is likely to be fairly entertaining.
I don't know what to vote for. So much shit.

The FD movies are okay and occasionally entertaining, but there's really no need for a third. Saw was total crap--you missed nothing--everything you heard that was positive about this movie was probably actually meant for Suspect Zero--which was actually pretty good. Jeepers Creepers was 15 minutes of promise and another hour or so of constant disappointment.

I went with Final Destination 3 only because I'm mildly entertained by the premise and the unique gory deaths those kids suffer.
AND of course I will see Saw 2 - I'm assuming because the original made like 100 times it's budget that they actually hired a real make-up effects artist.

Uh, it sounds like you may have misread the poll question... If you're entertained by FD 1 & 2, then you wouldn't vote FD3 as the worst idea, I think.

I hadn't had my daily coffee yet. I think they're ALL a bad idea really. I probably would have voted for 'The Ring 3' or 'Jeepers Creepers 3' cause those franchises have become piles of steaming you-know-what.

I think Saw 2 would be the worst. The only ones I would be interested in seeing are FD3 and TCM2.

I practically consider watching crappy movies a hobby! Ahhh House of the Dead! You were a worthy foe!! (Yah piece of crap) So that's not crazy and you're not crazy. Unless I'm also crazy. Which I very well might be...

Let's see:
- The Ring 3. This is the one I voted for, as I think it shows the least promise of the bunch. Mainly because, where could you go with the story by this point? Besides The Ring 2 sucked incredibly. I mean, put together everything that spurthed forth from the original Ringu novel: all three Ringu movies, The Ring Virus, the novel sequels, the manga adaptations, The Ring, even movies like Dark Water and Ju-on plus their remakes... and The Ring 2 is by far the worst of the lot. Which would be almost impressive except that it's so pathetic. - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. The original sequel isn't exactly a classic, so there isn't much to risk, I guess. I just fear that (really clueless) people might start believing that this is actually the original TCM series.
(I'm straying off topic here, but the other day I saw a trailer for the Amytiville remake and it read "from Michael Bay, creator of The Texas chainsaw massacre!". This is techically true, but it feels like a real cheat on the audience. The powers-that-be at Hollywood seem to be growing more and more desperate and shameless each passing day).
- Jeepers Creepers 3. Hated the first one on a first viewing, liked it a lot on a second. Didn't much care for the sequel. And frankly, I'd rather see Salva's other project about a demon thriller set in WWII...
- Saw 2. While I didn't hate Saw as vehemently as some people did here, I did find it to be a completely illogical mess. Mind you, I have seen much worse movies than this one, but well... Anyway, I see no reason to make a sequel.
- Final Destination 3. This one I wouldn' t mind at all. - Scary Movie 4. Don't care either way.

And it gets worse when you realize that there are people that just don't know any better. A (former) friend of mine had a coworker talk to him about how shocked she was that "they never caught that guy." She completely believed the movie was true! She didn't even realize it was a remake of a movie from the 70s! Pathetic! Oh, and I finally voted. Saw was the biggest initial disappointment to me of those "prequels." It was all hope, hype, promise and then, total angering let-down with a cumbersome story and generally bad cinematography. Saw 2? No thanks. Also, I leave it to that one to have been the most obviously left open to a sequel as the killer just walks away at the end.

I'm not voting.
However, I look forward to The Ring 3, Final Destination 3, and Scary Movie 4.

The latest news make us believe there is also Saw 3 in near-future plans. And then 4. And then 5. No shit.
