Myself, I usually stop buying for a while when I see too many unopened DVD's on my shelf.

Myself, I usually stop buying for a while when I see too many unopened DVD's on my shelf. I do the exact same thing. If I haven't yet watched Season whatever of a TV box set, I don't bother getting the next one until I do. If there are more than 10 unwatched movies sitting on the shelf I try to wait until I've seen a few of them before I pick up some more. |

I have 62 unwatched films & 15 unwatched season sets. I should try not opening the dvds when I first buy them, maybe that way I'll stop buyin', however I open the dvds right away & check to see that there are no abrasions or scratches on the disc(s). There is no way I could keep 77 dvds in their original packaging without always thinking. "hmm... I wonder if this one will work when I finally open it?" OR "hmm... I wonder if it will still be there when I get home from work"  |
