The Simpsons Family Guy The Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget-Incredibly hilarious, one of their best ones. CLoris Leachman stole the show with a couple fantastic zingers on practically everybody, Jeff Ross was again on fire with some great stuff, and just about everybody except for Norm McDonald got some nice lines in. Only he really stunk, but it was certainly worthwhile.

THE COMEDY CENTRAL ROAST OF BOB SAGET (Like Slayrrr posted above, this was probably the funniest roast Comedy Central has aired. I was laughing so hard I was almost in tears. Cloris Leachman ruled!) STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS and FLY ME TO THE MOON = 2 Skip It, They said skip Clone Wars? Wow... It's gotten almost all bad reviews. Being the STAR WARS nerd that I am though, I'll probably go see it anyway.

I'd really like to see it on the big screen though. Oh, well... This week the usual plus Into The Unknown with Josh Bernstein, NFL preseason and some college football last night.

The Closer Into The Unknown w/ Josh Bernstein The Shield season premiere- this is the final season for the show. I hate to see it go b/c it's one of my favorites, but at least it's ending while it's still good and not hanging around to slowly die like a lot of shows do. And I've got most of the seasons on dvd so I can watch it whenever I want.

Last couple of days:
ELVIS MITCHELL: UNDER THE INFLUENCE - QUENTIN TARANTINO (The movie critic interviews Tarantino about his favorite movies and actors.)
TRUE BLOOD-LINES: LEGENDS TRUE BLOOD-LINES: A NEW TYPE (2 half hour specials featuring the history of vampires in literature, film, pop culture and people who live vampire lifestyles, all leading up to the premiere of the new HBO series.)
TRUE BLOOD (Premiere episode. A new series that takes place in a world where vampires openly live among humans. It's called "coming out of the coffin". They can also go into convenience stores and bars and buy a bottled synthetic blood drink called Tru Blood. Decent pilot episode, but clips for upcoming episodes seem to promise a lot more vampire action. Stars Anna Paquin, Rogue in the X-MEN movies.)
AT THE MOVIES (Well, Roger Ebert & Richard Roeper are gone and this was the premiere of the new version. 2 new critics, the movie theater set is gone (Stupid decision), and they are occasionally joined by 3 other critics via satellite who also chime in with their opinions. Hopefully they'll bring back the theater set and get rid of the 3 extra critics. The whole thing now feels like an "Entertainment Tonight" type of show. The reviews: BURN AFTER READING = 2 See It, BABYLON A.D. = 2 Skip It, TRAITOR = 1 See It, 1 Skip It.)

I used to watch that a lot, but grew out of it when I stopped going to the theaters since it seemed like nothing but crap was coming out about five or six years ago, the end of an era I guess. The Simpsons Family Guy Repeats but still good, and The Simpsons one especially worthwhile because of an earlier viewing in the day.
