On Sunday:
TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES (I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. A bit jarring at first to not have Arnold playing a terminator or to see someone else playing Sarah Connor, but I quickly got over that and just got into the show. Definitely going to watch the second episode tonight.)
FAMILY GUY
AMERICAN DAD
EBERT & ROEPER (The Worst Movies of 2007. Each critic made their own top ten list. In no particular order, some of their picks were HOSTEL II, NORBIT, OCEAN'S 13, GOOD LUCK CHUCK, RUSH HOUR 3, I KNOW WHO KILLED ME, BRATZ, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, THE REAPING and SHOOT 'EM UP. Once again my Lame-O-Meter served me well and didn't see any of the movies on either of their lists.)

On Monday:
STORYTELLERS: PEARL JAM (2006 episode)
SEVEN AGES OF ROCK: Part 7 - What The World Is Waiting For: British Indie Rock (The final episode in the series looks at the second British invasion. The Smiths, Oasis, The Stone Roses, Blur are featured.)
TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES (Enjoyed this episode too. It's not the movies, but it's entertaining enough so far.)

Hey Term,
Is this the Star Trek release where they've digitally modernized or updated some of the special effects? How'd the new effects look?
Watched Thursday:
15th ANNUAL YOUNG COMEDIANS SPECIAL (1992 HBO stand-up special hosted by Dana Carvey and featuring such then up-and-coming talent as Ray Romano, Janeane Garofalo and future comedy director Judd Apatow, among others.)

Hey Term, Is this the Star Trek release where they've digitally modernized or updated some of the special effects? How'd the new effects look? I am not too familiar with TOS Star Trek but yes they are new shots most notably all the space shots have been modernized. Some other effects like laser blasts & background sets also look like they have gone threw some CGI. Surprising for a show of that age, the shots I think stand out the most are just the enterprise shots. It looks ok in HD but nothing like a full blown restoration ala Star Wars. Color is a huge improvement though.
