SPIKE TV'S GUY'S CHOICE AWARDS (Dumb show, but where else are you going to see Harrison Ford win a Lifetime Achievement Award named The Brass Balls? And Steve Carrell's acceptance speech for winning "Funniest Motherfucker" was, well, pretty fucking funny.)
ANGEL - Season 2 - Disc 3 (3 episodes)
HIGHLANDER - Season 6 - Disc 1 (3 episodes)

Between Saturday and Sunday:
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (In memory of George Carlin, NBC replayed the very first episode of SNL which premiered in 1975, hosted by Carlin. Very cool of them to do that.)
HIGHLANDER - Season 6 - Disc 2 (3 episodes)
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER - Season 5 - Disc 5 (4 episodes)
HBO had a marathon of George Carlin's stand-up specials and I DVR'd most of them, so I'll be paying tribute to the man for a while. First one I watched was: GEORGE CARLIN ON LOCATION (His very first HBO special from 1977. Historic and hilarious.)
EBERT & ROEPER (WALL-E and JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH = 2 thumbs up, WANTED = 1 thumb up and 1 down.)

Another Carlin HBO special:
GEORGE CARLIN AGAIN (1978) (So cool that they're showing all these early specials. I don't think I'd seen any until about the mid-eighties.)

Over the weekend watched:
HIGHLANDER - Season 6 - Disc 3 (3 episodes)
CARLIN AT CARNEGIE (1982) (One of his all-time best stand-up specials featuring hilarious bits on differences between dogs & cats and funny or disgusting sounding foods.)

Continuing my marathon of George Carlin's HBO specials:
CARLIN ON CAMPUS (1984) (Love that bit about football vs. baseball.)
GEORGE CARLIN: DOIN' IT AGAIN (1990)

Last, but not least of the HBO Carlin specials I recently dvr'd:
GEORGE CARLIN: BACK IN TOWN (1996) (Brilliant! Carlin at his angriest and funniest. Great rants on pro-lifers and capital punishment.)
GEORGE CARLIN: YOU ARE ALL DISEASED (1999) (A prophetic pre-9/11 rant on airport security and terrorists. Children and religion are also targeted. Genius.)
