ODYSSEUS: VOYAGE TO THE UNDERWORLD (2008) (Arnold Vosloo, who played Imhotep in those Brendan Fraser MUMMY movies, and is actually a good actor, plays Odysseus, and is probably the main reason to watch this Sci-Fi Channel movie. The movie finds Odysseus and his crew shipwrecked on an island where they meet the incredibly hot Persephone and have to occasionally battle these large bat-like creatures. And that, unfortunately, is pretty much it. Again, the budget is probably why not much else happens to them. But at least the CGI creatures in this look a little better than Grendel in that other movie.)

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
JOHN ADAMS: Part 7 (The finale. When I started watching this miniseries, I knew next to nothing about our second President, as opposed to some of the other founding fathers like Washington, Jefferson and Ben Franklin. Now I feel like I know way more about him than any of the others. This was a great movie, and Paul Giamatti was outstanding as Adams.
A prediction: Giamatti, Laura Linney who played his wife, Abigail, and maybe even Stephen Dillane who played Thomas Jefferson, will get Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.)

The Simpsons-Yes, it was the Valentines one so I sat down and rewatched it to see what I missed the first time, and while it was a decent enough job at providing the lovey-dovey stories you expect at that time, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I can stand these occasionally, but still not what I would go out of my way to watch.
