My internet was down most of this month, so all I've really been doing is watching tv . The usual, plus I watched some of the Rock & Roll HOF inductions the other night and that tribute/fundraiser concert for the Station Club fire victims on VH1.

JERICHO (The series finale. Much to my chagrin, just another in a series of recent tv shows that I was into that has been cancelled. Deadwood, Smith, The Nine, Blade, Daybreak, possibly Journeyman. But at least Jericho wasn't abruptly cancelled and they were able to finish the series with some kind of closure.)

Between Friday & Sunday:
REAPER
HIGHLANDER - SEASON 5 - DISC 3 (3 episodes)
LEGION OF SUPERHEROES
SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN
THE SIMPSONS (I wonder if the ballet instructor was always meant to look like Roy Scheider's character in "All That Jazz" or if they decided to do it as a tribute to him after his death. Either way, nice touch.)

EBERT & ROEPER (CHAPTER 27 = 2 thumbs up, 21 and STOP-LOSS = 1 thumb up and 1 down.)
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER - Season 4 - Disc 3 (3 episodes) (Including the awesome, almost completely silent episode, "Hush". Very cool and pretty creepy for a network tv series.)

Monday Night Raw-Goodbye Ric Flair, I'll certainly miss you. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I watched the last hour of Raw to see the farewell. I haven't been keeping up with WWE much lately so I didn't even know he was retiring until I was flipping through channels & happened to catch it. He's always been one of my favorites. It was nice to see some of the "old-timers" again...the Horsemen, Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Greg Valentine...brouight back a lot of memories. Also watched the HOF inductions too. Last week: The Riches Ghost Hunters UFO Hunters Cities of the Underworld

REAPER
SOUTH PARK (OMG! Kenny gets high on cat urine (!!) and his tripping fantasies are based on the animated cult classic, "Heavy Metal"! Complete with similar characters and animation and they even used some of the songs from the score! Nice!)

It was nice to see some of the "old-timers" again...the Horsemen, Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Greg Valentine...brouight back a lot of memories. The Horsemen were fun, but as soon as HHH came out, I knew there were going there and ruined the surprise. I actually marked out for Race and Steamboat when they came out, they were the real surprises. I forgot that he beat Race for his first title, great reminder there. And he actually has been in that storyline for a couple months now. McMahon told him back in December that when he lost his next one-on-one match, he would be forced to retire, and he did lose at Wrestlemania on Sunday. Incredible match, try to find it if you can. In fact, try to catch all of Wrestlemania except for the skits and that Divas match, the others are certainly worth watching.
