And trust me, the first season is probably the weakest, it really got better after that. Funny you should make the Buffy comparison. I've never seen the Buffy series and recently borrowed the Season 1 dvd set from a buddy of mine, so I can't wait to get started watching those. Thats good to know. I shouldn't have watched season 5 first. ahh well, don't remember too much so I'll probably revisit it after season 4. People I've talked to about the Buffy comparison either totally agree, or do not. As a lead character, Sarah definitely has more emotion & personality than Tom from Smallville. Anyway, both shows share a similar concept except for score. Smallville was filmed in my hometown & I was pleased that Mark Snow provided the score. Similar as in; *Group of friends in school *Each episode has a unique problem/vilian *Both the lead characters are basically hereos *Both the lead characters share an emotional bond towards someone & their powers/gifts get in the way Watched disc 3, onto disc 4.

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (Season premiere. Glad to see Larry and the gang back!) DIAL "H" FOR HITCHCOCK (Great special on AMC that showcases the life and career of Alfred Hitchcock. Makes me want to watch those classic films all over again.)

HIGHLANDER: THE SOURCE (The Sci-Fi Channel sequel to the tv series. Not totally worthless, but glad I didn't pay $9 to see it in a movie theater as was originally planned.)

This week and past weekend... was at the races all weekend so I didn't watch much football, except for the Arkansas/Alabama game...which was a bummer...
Saving Grace season finale K-Ville series premiere- not bad & nice to see Cole Hauser on TV again.
