Watched last Wednesday:
LOST Season Finale (Wow, oh, wow! What a mind fuck that twist was.)
Watched yesterday:
EBERT & ROEPER (Sunday's episode. One thumb up & one down for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3, two thumbs up for KNOCKED UP.)
STAR WARS: THE LEGACY REVEALED (Documentary on The History Channel discussing Lucas' influences in creating the saga, ie: mythology, literature, religion, world history and even past cinema like westerns and samurai films. Included interviews with writers and scholars as well as everyone from Dan Rather, Linda Ellerbee and Newt Gingrich to such filmmaking fanboys as Kevin Smith, JJ Abrahms & Peter Jackson. Informative and entertaining even for someone like me, who has watched pretty much every behind the scenes special ever made on SW.)

That is a lot of redneck comedy! Makes me wanna hop in the pickup truck with the gunrack and a six pack of Coors beer and yell out, "Yeeeehaaa!!!". (For the record, I hate Coors beer. E.T. seems to really enjoy it though, but I digress.) VH1 ROCK HONORS (This year's honorees were ZZ Top, Heart, Genesis & Ozzy Osbourne. Phil Collins and Ozzy actually hugged on stage. Isn't that a sign of the apocalypse?) THE SOPRANOS (What a fan-fucking-tastic episode that was! There was one this week, but I predict several high profile "wackings" next week. I can't believe more people around here don't watch this show. Only one more episode to go and it's all over. ) |
