Isaac Hayes Quits 'South Park'
Singer-turned-voice-over-actor Isaac Hayes has quit the animated South Park series, citing the show's satirical depiction of religion. In a statement, Hayes commented, "There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry toward religious beliefs ... begins." However, series co-creator Matt Stone promptly issued a statement accusing Hayes of being primarily angered by the show's decision to lampoon the Church of Scientology, of which Hayes is a member. and its celebrity members. "In ten years and over 150 episodes of South Park, Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslim, Mormons or Jews," Stone said in the statement that Hayes "got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show."It does seem more than a little strange for Hayes to finally say he's had enough when they poke fun at Scientology. Guess he decided he's made enough money from the show.

Jeez, and I thought Catholics were touchy.
Well, I did the research. Scientology... it's a pseudo science.
You don't know anything about Scientology. I do. ;D

All religion deserves to be made fun of. Isaac Hayes knows that. That's why he was offended.
Scientology is barely competent enough to be an actual religion.

From IMDB:
Why Did Isaac Hayes Really Quit 'South Park'?
Isaac Hayes did not quit Comedy Central's South Park because he was angered by the show's treatment of Scientology, according to FoxNews.com's Roger Friedman. "Someone quit for him," Friedman wrote Monday. "I can tell you that Hayes is in no position to have quit anything," he added. "Contrary to news reports, the great writer, singer and musician suffered a stroke on Jan. 17. ... It's also absolutely ridiculous to think that Hayes, who loved playing Chef on South Park, would suddenly turn against the show because they were poking fun at Scientology." Moreover, according to Friedman, South Park co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone plan to kick off the series 10th season on Wednesday with an episode entitled "The Return of Chef." Fox, meanwhile, is denying that the brouhaha was a publicity stunt.

That episode was awesome. They gave Scientology another whole raping!! HA HA HA!!! I agree. I read some editorial about it that said that Chef's death "was in poor taste" and I thought I guess they've never watched South Park before... Scientology is huge here in Florida. They practically run the Clearwater area. They scare the shit out of me and everyone has some kind of horror story about a friend-of-a-friend, etc. So I appreciated all the 'raping' immensely.

I think this week's and last week's episodes were pretty effing hilarious, taking jabs all over the place and satrizing so much.
And all the parodies of "Family Guy" were much funnier than the real "Family Guy"'s.

And even though I enjoy FAMILY GUY, I agree with every jab SOUTH PARK took at it. Catch the rerun, Quorth.

From "Cartoon Wars" second part episode
Cartman:What was the worst thing you ever did kid? Bart:I Stole the head of a statue one time. Cartman:Oh really? Thats cool....Thats kind of like this one time,i didn't like this kid,so i ground his parents up into chili and he ate them... Bart:Alright you win.
So last night I watched a repeat of the episode where Cartman did grind up the kids' parents. I had never seen it so I didn't realize he had actually done that in a past episode.
I almost peed my pants! ;D

And, I lost a ton of "respect" for Family Guy. I especially loved how they had Bin Laden and Al Zarqawi "talking" about how much Family Guy sucks. "Seriously, it's not even a funny show. The jokes don't have any relevance to the plot." Good stuff. I've never seen one animated show so ruthlessly tear apart another.

As much as I loved this episode, it's not nearly enough to make me lose respect for Family Guy. It's because Family Guy is random that it's so funny. I've acknowledged this years before Matt Stone and Trey Parker pointed it out.
