Ok, this is what happens when I sit around & watch the news too much... "The Killing Time" Blood on the ground Blood on their hands Killing and being killed For what they believe in Race, religion, politics, morality All writhe in the filthy knot of the crusade Searching for victory in the madness One entity wielding absolute power Stripping individuals and individuality Until theres nothing left but an empty void That he can fill with is own perception of reality A woman dies at the hands of a lover A baby dies cold and alone in a gutter Wasted humantiy litters the streets And we walk by with a blind eye Caring about nothing but the next big score Or if today will be the day our lucky number finally comes up Killing For love, money, revenge, power Killing for the sake of killing When the killing time is over And there's no one left to blame What will be left? And what will be gained?

I wrote this sonnet for my Senior English class, it's about my struggle with depression.
"Song of the Recurring Nightmare."
The night is dark, I cannot see the light A cold breeze blows, I shiver; I am cold The tunnel’s deep, the end is not in sight The dream is bad, but worse will soon unfold A sudden pause, I sense an evil air I turn around; A demon dark and black To try and tame the beast, I do not dare My fingers tremble, chills run down my back It cackles at me whilst I gaze in fear At the horrid sight, I let out a cry It will not go away, it remains near Tears run down my cheek, I wish I would die Alas, I wake; still feel the pain and lies, But come what may, someday the sun will rise.

Hey frankenjohn, how are you coming along w/ your screenplays? We're waiting for more! Most apparently, frankenjohn's 'tomorrow' has some deeper meaning than just our cliched 'it's the day right after today'... ;D Seriously now: good pieces, guys!
