Let's hope they settle it fast and come up with something soon.

Quote:You don't own Among the Living? I'm kinda shocked at that, and probably needs to be rectified soon.
Spreading isn't that bad, and it has a couple favorites on there (AIR, Medusa and Gung-Ho) and there's some really halfway decent songs on there. It's not as great as Among, but there's enough there. Never heard Fistful, but from what I've heard isn't that spectacular.
Sound I thought was pretty good on first listen, but I've somewhat soured on it in repeated listens. Strangely, when the songs on my player pop one of those on random, I enjoy them but then hearing the album in its entirety I'm not that into it. Seems weird. Never heard anything off Vol. 8 in a while, may need to go back to that one. |

Oh shit, I'm sorry. I don't own Spreading the Disease, I do own Among the Living. I got them confused in my head. I was picturing the AtL cover but all I could think of was "Spreading the Disease." That's the one with the kid on the gurney who's all panicking. I have the one with the dude in the crowd. It has "Indians" on it.
Bart--why isn't John Bush coming back??

He's pissed, generally. He said in one of the interviews many months ago that he won't be just happily waiting for 'Thrax to ask him to join the band again. I guess we'll get a new Armored Saint album instead...

I always thought they were okay, but nothing really spectacular. Hopefully, I'll be able to give the new album a change.

How, exactly, did all this shit happen in the first place? What were Ian and Benante thinking?

I don't have time to click the link, but if it's about the new vocalist--I found the news on MySpace.
They hired a virtual nobody.
Hope he sounds like John Bush.

That's what I gave. Check it out anyway, as there's samples of his work there to check out.
Personally, I don't think he's that terrible, as he's not a household name as the time (much like Rob Dukes who took over for Zetro Souza in Exodus) but frankly, it took for the first line in listening to the first song on his first album to practically forget about the previous ones, as there's no way that I can know think of Exodus without thinking of Dukes. He fits the sound to a tee, and it feels like Exodus all along without having to change at all to accompany the style. Let's just see what they produce first before we comdemn it.
