More on what I think cult films are in The Book - the thing that kept me from The Board for so long. Damn, I'm glad it's finally out!
Apart from analyzing several dozens cult horror films (for example Doctor X, Freaks, White Zombie, The Beast with Five Fingers, The Thing from Another World, The Curse of Frankenstein, Plan 9 from Outer Space, Horrors of the Black Museum, At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul, The Saragossa Manuscript, Lizard in a Woman’s Skin, The Living Dead Girl and many, many others) I actually try to come up with a definition of a "cult film". If anyone gets it - let me know what you think!

I'm checking that out simply for the quoting of At Midnight, I'll Take Your Soul. One of my all-time favorite films, and am interested in what you have to say on that one.
And cheers for completing the book.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the book, slayrrr!
I don't only write about my personal favorites there (for example, I Spit On Your Grave is covered in it although I find it rather boring), but yeah - I, too, love At Midnight, I'll Take Your Soul. That's a truly one-of-a-kind movie!

I'll give it a look when I have a chance. Still stuck mostly babysitting nowadays, so my free-time is pretty tight but I do make a promise to get to it at some point.

Hey Bart--the book sounds cool. When I'm in control of my money, I think I'll pick it up.
But next time you put out a book, come to me to make your cover! For what it's worth, that one is not too impressive.
Also, Bart, if you'd be so bold as to share this little book with anyone you know that has a Kindle.
It's my short story (about 50 pages) chronicalling two movie fans as they bicker about personal tastes via the internet. Essentially, they represent some of the worst of us in a comedic setting, and via instant messenger rather than a message board (IM kept the pace of the story higher).
But Bart, you have my support on your book. I'm adding it to my Amazon wishlist right now!
